The Christmas Cottage will be released in two phases in 2007. A special, Movie Premiere Release, will be available during the month of June, 2007, and will feature a unique and exclusive remarque. Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage, inspired by the early life and art of renowned painter Thomas Kinkade, is the story of how a small community and an aging mentor come to the aid of a family to save the only home they have ever known; and along the way teach a young man the meaning of love, friendship, and what it means to be an artist. The film will be released in theaters in December, 2007.
In the film, I'm featured at work, painting a study of the Christmas Cottage, -- the radiantly lit, loving home that sheltered and supported the development of my character. We are releasing the official Christmas Cottage, Holiday Homecoming I print now, as a way of providing a "sneak preview" of the film especially for my loyal collectors. -- Thomas Kinkade
