An artist's colony on the Central California Coast, Carmel welcomes millions of tourists each year to its beaches and village life. Ocean Avenue announces newcomers to this small village, just one mile square. If you listen carefully at night, you can hear the crashing surf and the call of the sea lions in the distance. This was Thom’s preliminary work for his studio work, Carmel, Sunset on Ocean Avenue.
