Painted on site in the Thomashire area of England.  This Victorian-era stone bridge that was once part of a huge estate is now an exclusive fishing club, so Thom had to get permission to paint on site and for his family to have a picnic.  Thom set up his easel and work for about a week while the club members stopped and admired his painting. He said, “I was so thoroughly taken with the gentility and peacefulness of the location that I invited my wife and children to the spot on several occasions to picnic in the sunshine beside the stream as I painted.”
