A few years after their trip in which Thom found the inspiration for Autumn Gate, he and Nanette went back to England and went through the gate.  They found this “stately, ivy draped stone manor house” at the end of the lane, which was the inspiration for Beyond Autumn Gate, the second in this series. The National Association of Limited Edition Dealers (NALED) named this work as Second Runner-up for the Graphic/Lithograph of the Year award in 1994.
