The sun is rising instead of setting, which is different than End of A Perfect Day series. The setting is loosely based upon Lake Louise in Canada’s Alberta Providence (a place where the Kinkades went one summer). Inside the mountain crest (middle of painting) is old man winter blowing wind (mouth and two eyes). This painting also has three ghost riders to the right of the cabin. Check out the fishing poles by the door. This is the first of three painting in this series. Debra Yonkers, a Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery owner in Muskegon, Michigan, was so inspired by this painting that she modeled her gallery and the grounds to look just like the this work.
